Periondontal disease usually develops slowly. Have you noticed
any of the 8 silent signs that may indicate you have periodontal
disease?:
- Do your gums bleed when you brush your teeth?
- Are any areas on your gums swollen or tender?
- Do your gums look like they have receded?
- Does pus appear between your teeth and gums when the gums are
pressed?
- Are your teeth becoming loose or changing position?
- Have you noticed any change in the way your teeth fit together
when you bite?
- Has there been any change in the way your partial dentures fit?
- Do you have bad breath or a bad taste in your mouth?
